What happens

Several women in a theater audience, including a grey-haired woman in a blue dress and another in a green jacket, scowl at the stage. Marge in a green dress and red beads sits beside Lisa in a red dress and pearls, who turns to speak and then looks worried. Behind them, Patty and Selma appear in the crowd. On the stage, a line of muscular, uniformed men in suspenders and olive pants stand and sit beside a purple wall, one in a red fire helmet, another in a tan coat, while a sign above them reads REJECTS. Earlier, a sign reading EJECTS hung over a velvet curtain where a woman in a red dress stepped out, and Mr. Burns in a red sweater, Moe in a red suit with a bow tie, and Sideshow Bob in purple sunglasses stood near the rope line as a row of men waited.
