What happens

An older man in a red coat and red turtleneck, with a swept-up white pompadour, speaks into a microphone he holds near his face at first, with a window framed in snow behind him and Maggie, in her blue bow, peering in at the right edge. The scene widens so he holds the microphone toward the family standing in a snowy doorway: Marge in a pink robe with her tall blue beehive, Homer in a light blue shirt, Lisa, and Bart in green, with Maggie raised in his other hand. Over the moment, the man's mouth moves while Homer's mouth opens and closes, Homer grimaces and grins, and the family stares ahead with wide eyes.
