What happens

Homer, in a black top, sits in a wooden boat under a tan canopy, gripping the edge with his yellow hands and grimacing before glancing around and then gaping in alarm. The boat drops from the cliff-side sky, and a teal station wagon with a raccoon-tail antenna falls past a dark rock face, trailing a puff of smoke and a glowing exhaust. The car lands upside down and then tilts into a cloud of white foam, before sinking underwater among large pale blue bubbles and trailing streams of bubbles as it goes down.
