Homer leads a band of white-uniformed marchers down a parade street between parked white buses, while crowds line the sidewalks on both sides

What happens

Homer, in a white sailor-style marching band uniform with a bag slung at his side, leads a band of white-uniformed marchers down a parade street between parked white buses, while crowds line the sidewalks on both sides. Early on, a man with a moustache and glasses rides in a trash can at the roadside, and a man in a white dress uniform and captain's hat carries a drum near the crowd. As the march goes on, Homer hops and swings a baton-like stick out in front of the band, then moves toward the bottom of the street, where Bart in his orange shirt on the left and Lisa in her red dress on the right stand watching. The scene ends with Homer dancing in the centre of the road as Bart and Lisa stand on either side of him.
