About the episode
After Homer mouths off to the garbage men, the family loses its trash pickup, and he angrily takes back the apology Marge sends in his name. He runs against Sanitation Commissioner Ray Patterson, crashes a U2 concert and wins on the slogan "Can't Someone Else Do It?" His extravagant services drain the budget, so he lets other cities dump waste in old mines until it bursts up through Springfield.
