What happens

Two men in tan fringed buckskin outfits with feathered headbands stand on a grassy hill, the one with long black braids weeping while the other rests a hand on his shoulder and speaks. The scene then shifts to a trash-strewn wasteland under a low sun, where a tilted blue sign reading "Welcome to Springfield" stands amid litter, a dented barrel, and a donut. Purple hills rise in the background as the sign remains still.
