What happens

Homer, the bald, stubbled man in a white shirt and blue pants, and Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt riding a skateboard, appear in a driveway beside a pink car in front of a yellow garage with a blue mailbox, after the title sequence of blue sky and drifting pale clouds where the yellow letters THE SIMPSONS appear. Bart rolls along the lawn on his skateboard as Homer climbs out of the pink car's open door, then rides a small red bicycle while balancing a tall stack of blue and white boxes, and finally crouches beside the car with his hands raised to his head. Visible objects include the garage's cluttered back shelves, a bicycle and cardboard boxes inside, a brick wall, and the mailbox near the lawn.
