What happens
Homer, in a white shirt and blue pants, gestures with an open hand in a purple room beside a red couch and a cup, then he, Marge with her tall blue beehive, Lisa in her red dress, Bart and Maggie in her blue outfit with bow all stand before a green chalkboard filled with the repeated line "I will not mess with the opening credits" as Bart points at it. The scene then cuts to a retro television on pink background reading "Created by Matt Groening," followed by "Developed by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Sam Simon."
