What happens

Homer Simpson stands at a wooden podium before red curtains, wearing a blue jacket and green tie, grimacing and gesturing as he speaks. Chief Wiggum, the fat police chief, laughs in the audience beneath red, white and blue bunting, while Mr. Burns, a frail, stooped old man with grey hair at the sides and a brown jacket and blue tie, bursts through double doors with his arms spread wide. Burns then strides down past the seated crowd, climbs onto the stage, and stands at a second podium facing Homer.
