What happens

Homer, in a white garbage-collector uniform and cap, stands atop a grey garbage truck with his arms spread wide while a line of similarly uniformed garbage men, one of whom resembles Carl, hoists green bags from the street and carries them past the cab, where another man sits at the wheel. The men then gather around the open hopper of the truck, filled with green bags, and swing their arms in unison, some with hands raised to their caps, while Homer keeps his arms outstretched on the roof above them under a bright blue sky with white clouds and tidy pink and red houses behind.
