What happens

Bart, Lisa and Marge stand in a doorway of a pink house piled high with trash, with Homer behind them, and Marge points upward as Bart and Lisa step down the front stairs. Marge then stands at the door, and Homer and Marge stand together in the doorway as the garbage piles up around the steps and windows. Brown rats then tear at strips of bacon and food scraps in a heap of rubbish under a blue sky. Finally, the family sits at a dining table in a pink room, with Homer, Bart, Lisa and Marge eating, and Marge speaks and grimaces while holding a fork and knife at a plate of bacon and peas in front of a window filled with trash.
