What happens

Homer and Bart Simpson are in a laboratory-like room with a large orange wooden counter, shelves of jars and bottles, and a window behind them. Homer first peeks up from behind the counter beside Bart, then both duck and rise with wary, glaring expressions, and Homer later stands up and reaches toward a glass flask and the green-and-white apparatus on the counter. Bart then steps out from the left side of the room, and the scene empties, leaving only the counter, the flask, the lamp-like device, and the shelves. A large yellow bowl-shaped object sits on the counter in early frames.
