What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, sits at the right end of a brown couch in a pink living room, and Lisa, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair and a red dress with a pearl necklace, sits beside him, while Homer, the bald heavy man in a white shirt and black tie, sits on the arm of the couch at left. Over the first several moments Bart's wide-eyed, open-mouthed reaction shows him laughing and twitching his eyebrows while Homer leans back laughing with his eyes closed. Then Homer turns to glance at the family, smiles, and speaks, and by the end he is standing up with a dark grey-lined sport coat, tugging at his hair while Marge, with a tall blue beehive and a green dress, stands at right near a white cabinet while Lisa and Bart watch. Items visible include a purple lamp on a side table with a black telephone and books, a framed sailboat painting on the wall, and a patterned rug on the floor.
