What happens

Ned Flanders, in a green sweater with a moustache and glasses, climbs a ladder onto a roof where Homer, wearing a chef's hat and red swim trunks, tends a roasting meat on a spit over a brick chimney. Homer holds a can and gapes while Ned stands beside him, and both men become smeared with soot as the grey smoke thickens and a small figure waits at the base of the ladder. Flames suddenly burst out of the chimney, and afterward the blackened Homer and Ned stand against suburban houses and purple hills.
