What happens

Homer Simpson and Carl sit across a green cafeteria table, Homer holding a pen and Carl holding a small spiral notepad as they talk, with Carl gesturing and glancing up while Homer leans on his arms looking unimpressed. In the background a woman in a white lab coat sits at another table, and a man in a white cap and a man in a green sweater stand near a pair of blue doors. The scene then moves to the night-time exterior of Moe's, its pink facade under a banner reading "TV SENSATION HOMER SIMPSON DRINKS HERE!" with a red neon MOE'S sign above the purple door and parked cars out front.
