About the episode

A new TV series, Police Cops, features a slick, wealthy detective named Homer Simpson, and the real Homer basks in the attention. When the show turns the character into a clumsy oaf and Springfield starts mocking him, his lawsuit fails, so he legally renames himself Max Power. The name impresses Trent Steel, whose celebrity garden party turns into a redwood protest that ends with Max accidentally felling the forest.
