What happens

Mr. Burns and Smithers sit in a swan-shaped pedal boat on a flooded street, with a grey-violet-haired woman waving behind them, while a man in a green jacket and bow tie is trapped in a green bubble on the water. A mustached gondolier in a striped shirt and straw boater rows a wooden gondola past red-roofed houses, carrying a boombox at the back, and later a man in a blue suit with grey hair holds a slim woman in a green sweater with a brown bob as the gondola drifts at sunset. The gondolier keeps rowing throughout, with splashes at the oar and the couple's pose changing slightly as the boat moves on.
