What happens

Sideshow Bob, shirtless with a huge red mane and mustache, and a shirtless man with a black afro work with pickaxes in a muddy pit while Chief Wiggum sits at its edge, and Patty and Selma stand with arms folded among a crowd of onlookers that includes Homer. A shirtless man with a black afro raises a pickaxe overhead, then the crowd looks on as he works in the dirt beside Wiggum, who wipes his neck with a towel. The view then tilts upward against a blue sky with clouds, with Patty and Selma, a bald man, a grey-moustached man and a bespectacled man with brown hair peering down into the pit.
