What happens

Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive, stands at the left edge pushing a wire shopping cart, with Apu of the Kwik-E-Mart and a few other shoppers close beside her under an 'EXPRESS LANE 1000 ITEMS OR LESS' sign in a store aisle. A red-dressed, red-haired figure in sunglasses and a man in a tan jacket holding a bottle and a bundled item stand in the middle of the crowd, while a tall, grey-haired man in a blue sweater stands at right with a sour, unimpressed expression. Across the sequence the figures barely move, with the group holding their items and the man on the right keeping his blank, sullen look as shelves of products line the background.
