Bart stands at a classroom chalkboard in the opening sequence, writing "I AM NOT LICENSED TO DO ANYTHING" over and over in white chalk

What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt and blue shorts, stands at a classroom chalkboard in the opening sequence, writing "I AM NOT LICENSED TO DO ANYTHING" over and over in white chalk. He writes the lines repeatedly, then leans back, grinning and squinting, and kicks one leg up while stretching an arm out as the board fills with the repeated text. The scene opens on a blue sky with drifting clouds, then the title card "THE SIMPSONS" appears in yellow letters over the clouds before the classroom, which has a green wall, a red wastebasket, and a round wall clock.
