What happens

Opening title sequence of The Simpsons: a black screen gives way to a blue sky with drifting clouds, and the yellow title text 'THE SIMPSONS' appears over them. The scene then cuts to the Simpson family's driveway in front of their yellow house with an open garage, where a pink car sits with Bart standing on its roof holding a skateboard, and Homer, a bald heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, stands beside the car with his hands out at his sides. A mailbox sits on the lawn at the lower left, and Lisa's figure is seen in the back seat window of the car as the scene plays out.
