The Simpsons, “The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show” (season 8, episode 14), 12:57–13:08
What happens
A cheering crowd of yellow cartoon figures with raised arms fills a TV screen, then the view shifts to Krusty the Clown at the left edge, gesturing toward a green stage where a blue cartoon mouse with a huge orange club chases a black cat swinging a grey mallet. The cat swings the mallet at the mouse, which ends up flattened beneath it, and then a cartoon dog in a plaid shirt, purple cap and sunglasses appears alongside the mouse and cat as the mallet-swinging fight continues across the green background, with no on-screen text visible.
