Principal Skinner speaks into a microphone at a wooden podium against a red curtain, his eyes shifting and his mouth moving as he talks

What happens

Principal Skinner, with neat grey hair and a blue suit, speaks into a microphone at a wooden podium against a red curtain, his eyes shifting and his mouth moving as he talks. Seated in a purple auditorium row behind him, Homer stares ahead and Ned Flanders in his green sweater, moustache and glasses watches with his mouth open, while Marge with her tall blue beehive, Bart, a woman with grey-violet hair and a red bow, and a woman with a blue bob and glasses look on, some with their mouths moving. The scene alternates between Skinner at the podium and the crowd reacting, with the audience's expressions tightening and softening as he speaks.
