The Simpsons, “Treehouse of Horror VIII” (season 9, episode 4), 21:51–22:01
What happens
A mob of unnamed villagers, some in dark hats and white bonnets, carry torches and pitchforks down a moonlit village street lined with bare trees and wooden houses, chasing a lone figure in a brown coat who walks away toward the large yellow moon. The mob surges forward as the torches flicker, then the screen fades to black, and white-on-black green credits appear reading "Executive Producer MIKE 'AGENT' SCULLY," then "Executive Producers CHAINS HELL BROOKS, BAT GROENING, SAM 'SAYONARA' SIMON," and finally "Starring DAMNED CAST-IN-HELL-DEAD-AAAH!"
