Homer stands with Bart and Lisa among a crowd of pilgrim-costumed villagers and a man with a moustache in a black hat

What happens

Homer, holding Maggie, stands with Bart and Lisa among a crowd of pilgrim-costumed villagers and a man with a moustache in a black hat. The snowman in the top hat and carrot nose waves his twig arms against a grey winter sky while steam wisps rise, and Apu, wearing a crown, a blue fairy gown and white gloves, waves a star-tipped wand beside him. A green-faced woman with a towering black beehive is then swarmed by bats as the villagers march up a rocky hill carrying torches, with bats flying overhead.
