The Simpsons, “Das Bus” (season 9, episode 14), 6:54–7:05
What happens
Otto, the bus driver with long curly black hair, climbs against a red school bus window as a wave bursts in, then is swept under and surfaces in the ocean with Marge, whose tall blue beehive is visible, and passengers including Bart and Grampa peering from the flooded windows of the yellow SCHOOL BUS. The bus, its roof and windows still showing, sinks and then drifts away from Otto, who swims off on the open blue sea while the bus shrinks into the distance. Bart stays near the bus window as it sinks, and the bus eventually vanishes except for its roofline as it moves across the water.
