Apu works behind a wooden crate in the store, with a basket of red apples on the counter behind him

What happens

Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart clerk in a green shirt, black vest and white apron, works behind a wooden crate in the store, with a basket of red apples on the counter behind him. He lifts a donut from a crate of ice and donuts, then reaches up to the donut case as a donut flies up past the DONUTS sign, while a green lizard creeps across his back and then walks along the floor in the foreground. He ends up standing at the counter holding a donut, with signs reading NO: CHECKS, CREDIT CARDS, FOOD STAMP, TOURIST FILM 35mm, and BREAKFAST visible. The last frames show him in a small back room with an old TV and a poster of white geese labeled IWCHIKU, where he closes his eyes and then holds a receipt up to his chin in thought.
