What happens

Bart, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt and blue shorts, stands in a classroom before a green chalkboard reading 'The Simpsons Halloween Special IX' in red dripping letters. He holds a paintbrush and dips it in a jack-o'-lantern bucket, then paints the chalkboard, adding the Roman numeral IX to the title. He pauses, then steps back and sets the brush down, leaving red paint on the floor. He turns, grins and spreads his arms, and then runs out through the doorway toward the lockers, leaving a red smear and the brush on the floor. The room holds a blue trash can, a wall clock, a red-and-blue bookcase and student desks.
