What happens

Homer, in a yellow hazmat suit with an orange harness and a visor, stands at a red counter beneath a CAUTION sign while a glowing green beam pulses from his hands, and Mr. Burns, frail and stooped with a hooked nose, watches from behind a control panel with a scientist-like assistant in glasses and a bow tie. Homer's beam grows brighter and then shoots off-screen as Burns gestures toward it. Next, Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red beads, reads a copy of MOM Monthly at a store counter, while Maggie, with spiky hair and a blue bow, peeks at her beside a blue machine with a CHECKS sign and a green bottle. Maggie then stands at the counter by a conveyor belt with a red bow on a mat, and she reaches toward a row of packages as the 5 sign hangs above. Marge pushes a blue shopping cart across an orange-tiled floor, and Maggie, gripping the cart's wire basket, reaches out over the front of it. Marge raises her hands to ward her off as Maggie tosses something small and red toward her.
