What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt and blue shorts, first appears outside Springfield Elementary School, whose sign hangs above the brown double doors. Inside a green classroom, he writes "FUNNY NOISES ARE NOT FUNNY" over and over on the chalkboard, then carries a red wastebasket toward the door and reaches out for it. The scene ends with Bart riding a green skateboard through a blue sky, arms spread, past a flagpole with an American flag.
