The Simpsons, “Treehouse of Horror VIII” (season 9, episode 4), 21:23–21:36
What happens
An old man in a tricorn hat sits on a rock by a lake at dusk, reading a book and smoking a pipe, before the caption "One year later" appears over a village of wooden houses. On the street, Lisa in a feathered headdress and Homer in a pink costume stand among trick-or-treaters dressed as a skeleton, a devil, and a grim reaper, with jack-o'-lanterns strung between the houses. Homer then steps forward in his pink outfit while torches flicker behind the costumed crowd.
