What happens

Homer, Lisa, Maggie and Marge are seen in a crowd at a racing event while a mayor in a sash waves a green flag from a platform decorated with red, white and blue bunting. A driver grips the steering wheel of a small racer speeding down a dirt track between tiered grandstands crowded with spectators, while back in the crowd Homer stares wide-eyed, holding something red and sticky, as Maggie sucks a pacifier beside an orange balloon. Finally, a brown-haired driver grins from the cockpit of an orange car with a fanged mouth and the word ROADKILL painted on its side as it rolls past onlookers on a suburban street.
